Magnetic particle brakes and clutches whose torque is set by excitation current, giving smooth, slip-tolerant torque for unwinding and rewinding tension control. Brakes and clutches come in natural air-cooled, forced air-cooled, water-cooled, co-axial shaft and hollow-shaft external-radiation versions.
